Mindset
An introduction with benefits. Learn the simple but seismic shifts in thinking and habitual behaviour that can unlock your creativity and allow you to produce and finish music consistently, leaving writers block as a distant memory.
Creating
This section is divided into 7 chapters, dealing with starting tracks, using templates, sound design, low percussion, midrange percussion and highs along with trialling combinations.
Arranging
This section covers the principles of arranging music for club play, why people get stuck in a "loop phase" (and how to get out of that) along with the actual nuts and bolts of arranging your track and zoning in on breakdowns and drops for maximum impact.
Mixing
In this section, the lessons will cover the mixing mindset, the techniques James uses to balance his mixes, the importance of focusing in on the kick/bass relationship, mixing the mids and highs for clarity, the grouping and processing strategy used as well as an overall mix review.
Post Production
This section covers James' process for creating a playable DJ master and how best to deal with labels and the industry to get your music released and making an impact on listeners.
